Food & Drink
Just like the places to stay, there are many choices when it comes to great places to eat and drink in Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point). Some are quaint little ‘local’ places and coffee shops, some are nice family restaurants, others can be full blown sports and party bars. All listed below have been proven to have good to outstanding food/drink, and are recommended to visit while visiting Rocky Point. (We at Prestige Properties frequent the establishments below and many more. We couldn’t possibly list them all, we need to sell real estate at some point. Sorry if we missed a few. They are listed in no particular order.)
Boobar
A really cool sports bar on the water in Old Port, with great food, fun, music, drinks, and sunset views. Also offering up live music, swings for bar stools, and a ‘prize’ wheel that could have you dancing on stage in front of the band or kissing the stranger next to you. Open for lunch and dinner.
Family friendly restaurant/bar with great atmosphere and great food and Mexican microbrews. Located inside La Princesa de Peñasco resort. Breakfast/lunch/dinner
Colin's Cantina
A bar with ‘stuff to do’ and a kitchen offering something for all lunch and dinner palates. Fresh fish and shrimp, daily specials, and great drinks, all in a laid-back comfy atmosphere. Stop in to play a few games of: horse shoes, billiards, ping pong, super-sized beer pong, or extra super-sized Jenga. Casual dress, good vibes music, great bands. Located at the end of Calle 13, across from Hotel Peñasco del Sol. A great place to have a large party, and if you get tired, Jill has a Shack in the Back for you to crash in.
Southside Jillz
Tequilas & Mariachis
Always consistant Mexican food and fresh seafood dinners. Located on Revolucion in the middle of ‘Shacks Fifth Avenue’
A small ‘local’ place with flavors from Oaxaca. Fresh homemade chicken mole’, picadas, and tamales wrapped in banana leaves-- all you need to know. mmmm. On Simon Morua, one block before ACE Hardware, same side of the street. Many locals will be mad that this place is being mentioned, it’s that tasty. Open 3p to 9p.

Max's Cafe
Max's Cafe, Sonoran Grill, and Bryan's- All three are family-owned and wonderfully consistent places to eat, drink, and meet Maria. Max’s is in Plaza Las Glorias and serves breakfast/lunch/dinner, Bryan’s is on Blvd. Fremont just before Las Conchas serving lunch/dinner (great place to catch a game), and Sonoran Grill is inside the Sonoran Spa resort for late lunch and dinner. Prime rib can be had on Fridays at all three locations.

This German style restaurant will have you coming back for more. Daily breakfast and lunch specials are not to be missed and, watch out for the pastries. The homemade strudel is dangerously divine and should be shared with all Prestige Properties consultants. You’ll see them on your way to Old Port, one street back from the marina just past Latitude 31.
Coffee Haus'
Cenaduria Yoly
Serving up basic local Mexican foods like, sopes, tostadas, tacos dorados, pozole’, and enchiladas. Located one block East of Super Ley on the corner. Open for dinners only.
Sky Bar
Located atop Whale Hill and serving up great drinks in a relaxed upscale lounge atmosphere, with excellent views of the Sandy Beach skyline and Puerto Peñasco
Marlin Azul (The Blue Marlin)
In Old Port, this popular seafood restaurant has great food and portions are just right, especially if you’re on a budget. Comparable in quality to many pricier restaurants and open for lunch and dinner. Homer will greet you with his 'welcome home' 6 days a week.
Wrecked at the Reef
Located at the end of and on Sandy Beach. Popular gringo hangout serving up great music and drinks. Stay for the band on the weekends or drink and play games out front by the sea. This large venue can accommodate big groups easily.
Guisseppi's
A quaint local restaurant serving up delicious breakfast and lunches, with a coffee shop attached. You can sit inside or outside on their comfortable patio and enjoy the fresh air. Good food and good service can be found here.
Duke's
The Rocky Point Mexico version of the original Duke’s Sports Bar in Scottsdale, serving up great food, daily specials, and cold libations. You’ll find Duke’s just North of Calle 13 on the way to Sandy Beach. Breakfast/lunch/dinner
Elixir
A very nice Night Club located in the Mirador section of Rocky Point, where the music and drinks will keep you pumped ‘til the wee hours of the morning
Tacos Poblano
Some of the best carne asada and pastor tacos in Rocky Point. The two best known locations are: on No Reeleccion (calle 26) just West of the baseball stadium, the other on the corner of Sinaloa and Simon Morua. Late lunch, dinner, or late night.
Mary's
In Old Port, on the right as soon as you turn left to enter the fish market. Serving up great seafood cocktails and tacos. Lunch/dinner
Pan e Vino
Gourmet homemade Italian and seafood dishes along with top notch steaks are what you’ll find here for dinner. Located in the plaza on Blvd. Benito Juarez where the railroad tracks cross the street.
Al Capone's Pizza and Beer
Exactly like the name says, although besides pizza and beer, you’ll find fresh local fish on special and great pasta dishes. Located on calle Sinaloa in the Mirador and open for lunch and dinner.
La Casa del Capitan
All the way to the top of Whale Hill, this place serves up great food and the best views of Rocky Point, Sandy Beach, and the Sea of Cortez. Sunset is a very popular time here as, you can see the Baja peninsula 80 miles away. Lunch/dinner
ZuQ Salads and Sandwhiches
One of the better quick lunches in Rocky Point, fresh greens and lots of toppings/ingredients to choose from on the salads, with sandwiches that do not disappoint. Located in the Mirador, on the East side of Plaza Camaron (Shrimp Plaza) in plaza Pelicano.
Limani Cafe'
Across from Zu Q in plaza Pelicano, this café serves up some of the best coffees in town, along with breakfast and lunch. Open later for your caffeine cravings too.
Latitude 31
One of the longest running sports bars in Rocky Point. Perched on the side of the hill as you enter the marina area, this sports bar aims to please. Famous for their ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’ and homemade daily specials, this bar/restaurant is worth eating and drinking at with the family while in Rocky Point.
